Aqua Jogging

Use floatation equipment to "jog" in the water with little to no impact on the knees and hips. Free to Y Members.

Tue/Thurs 8:15 - 9:00 AM

Wet Workout

Take advantage of the water's natural resistance to improve flexibility and range of motion and relieve muscle tension. Low to no impact on joints - a great way to start off and get used to moving in the water. The class takes place in the shallow end only, so non-swimmers are always welcome.

SilverSneakers® - Muscular Strength & Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Mon/Wed 10:30 - 11:15 AM in the Multi Purpose Room

Gentle Stretch

Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures.

Get Up and Go

Enjoy this aerobic class that is safe, heart healthy and easy on the joints. The workout includes low impact movements, upper body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercise designed to energize your active lifestyle. Hand-held weights or elastic tubing with handles are used for progressive resistance training.
