The YMCA offers several regular programs for children in elementary school.
This before and after school program provides alternative activities for children in 5th and 6th grades who attend Carl Sandburg Middle School. Your child may be enrolled for as few as three days per week, before and/or after school. Activities include sports, games, crafts, swimming, homework time (with assistance), and much, much more. On-site before and after school child care is available for the 2010-2011 school year at Lincoln-Douglas, Empire, Blackhawk, Center and Taylor Park elementary schools. Attention Teachers!

Financial Assistance Statement
The YMCA's policy is that no person will be turned away because of lack of funds. If you know of anyone who would benefit from a YMCA membership or program, but does not have the needed funds, please contact our professional staff. Financial assistance and scholarships are obtained through a simple and confidential application process.
